About the Client
Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership Ministries located in Sussex, NJ is a week long summer camp that provides young adults with access to a strong faith community and an opportunity to develop their strengths as leaders in the church. This exciting and interactive camp has been a life changing experience for generations of campers.
About the Project
Pinecrest LLM needed a site to display camp information, a place to share announcements, staff and faculty profiles and most importantly, registration for camp.
The logo
Because this is a lutheran camp for young adults I wanted to incorporate the idea of the campers being the "church". I used figures that represented 4 different campers and arranged them so that they made the symbol of a cross.
The Website
The website showcases the camps best assets, the CAMPERS! The website gives the important information to potential campers (and their parents), keeps current campers up-to-date and brings nostalgia to alumni. Camp registration beings every July and allows campers to RSVP and make payment via the website. All registrations are able to be downloaded into an excel spreadsheet for the camp registrar.
